“ The food is absolutely amazing. Fairly certain the corn tortillas and chips are made in-house. It’s a small establishment, but they have patio seating. Will definitely be returning. ”
“ I went to Kahlo’s with a group of 3 friends and we had a great time. We were seated on the patio, which was nice and spacious. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. They also gave us free chips and salsa, which were crunchy and fresh. I had a 3 taco meal, which came with rice and beans. I had barbacoa, and two chorizo tacos, which were flavorful and juicy. We all enjoyed some Tecate and margs, which were refreshing and strong. Two of them got a big burrito, which was filling and satisfying. My other friend got a chorizo burger thing, which was stellar. It was a huge burger with chorizo, cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato and onion. It looked amazing and he said it was one of the best burgers he ever had. Kahlo’s is a great place to go for authentic Mexican food and drinks. It’s got a fun atmosphere and a reasonable price. I can’t wait to go back! ”

The strawberry margarita was recommended and I was not disappointed that I ordered one for later. The regular margarita came with an edible flower that added a beautiful touch. “ The staff is like family to most costomers, they are great! The carnitas was the best I have had on the East Coast---so flavorful and just perfect, like home in Cali! Carne asada is excellent. Street tacos are amazing. Great beans and rice. Homemade corn tortillas are delicious! They season all of the meat really well. The atmosphere is fun and lively. It's kept very clean! Total gem in the city! Normal Margarita was good, but the Blood Orange Margarita is probably the best margarita I have had. Definitely recommend it! ”
